WI to Prescott, WI.

This
was our 17th annual contest, and
78 anglers registered to compete.
Cash prizes were awarded for fish
in three categories: Largest
Walleye, Heaviest Stringer, and
Ugliest Fish. Two-person
teams combined their catch to
compete in the Heaviest
Stringer category.
Tasty
burgers and brats were served
along with chips and soda. Drawings
were held after 3 p.m. for
sponsor-donated prizes. No one
who remained for the drawing
walked away empty handed!
This
year's contest raised $2,300
to benefit local charities,
including the St.
Croix Valley Youth Service
Bureau, an organization
committed to improving the
lives of young people by
developing healthy families
and communities through education,
prevention and early intervention.
