Beanie's River Rat Fishing Tournament | Saint Croix River

St. Croix walleye Saturday, September 17, 2011
This was our 18th annual contest. Cash prizes were awarded for fish in three categories: Largest Walleye, Heaviest Stringer, and Ugliest Fish. 65 anglers entered this year's contest. Two-person teams combined their catch to compete in the Heaviest Stringer category.

Tasty burgers, brats and chili was served along with chips and soda. Drawings were held after 3 p.m. for sponsor-donated prizes. No one who remained for the drawingl walked away empty handed!
Youth Service Bureau   This year's contest generated a $1,500 donation for the St. Croix Valley Youth Service Bureau, and $800 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk.
