A houseboat is a great place to spend
your summer vacation near Minneapolis
and St. Paul, Minnesota. Cruise the
St. Croix River in style, and take
your lodging with you!
Our houseboat is designed to sleep 10 people.
The legal limit for this boat is
12 overnight guests. Please add $50.00/
night per person for each guest in
excess of 10. The boat is equipped
with 4 sleeping rooms, 2 bathrooms
(one with shower), two refrigerators,
a full kitchen and living room, central
heat and air, front deck with a gas
grill, upper sun deck with fly bridge, and water
slide.
Truly a "house" on the water, Maui's Mansion
serves as lodging and tour boat, providing breathtaking views of the
St. Croix River Valley.

All
boats may be reserved for a 3-day weekend,
4-day mid-week or 7-day week. Exceptions
to this policy may be made if the schedule
permits.

| Early
Boarding |
| Most
customers like to take advantage of the
early boarding program. With this option
you are able to board the boat the night
before departure. This gives you a chance
to acclimate to the boat and keeps you
from having to rent hotel rooms. If you
arrive in time the training cruise will
be done upon arrival and you will be released
to spend the first night on the river instead
of the marina. Remember you must allow
2 hours for the training cruise prior to
sunset. Boarding time for this program
is between 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Early boarding
may be purchased for an additional fee
of $100.00. |
| Crew
Requirements |
| All
crews must have a minimum of 3 adults.
(An able bodied teenager may be substituted
for one adult.) Crews that do not have
enough manpower to safely navigate the
boat may be restricted to the St. Croix
River from Kinnikinnic State Park to Stillwater.
Beanie's wants to make sure your vacation
is free from problems. We recognize the
enjoyment you have is directly related
to how well we train you to operate the
boat and its equipment. Therefore, all
crewmembers should be involved in the training
cruise. No training cruise will occur if
one or more members have been drinking
alcohol. |
| Reservations |
| Reserve
early to insure your choice of dates. All
reservations must be secured with a $500
reservation deposit (midweek and
weekends) or a $750 reservation deposit (full
week). The reservation deposit converts
to the security deposit at check-in and
will be refunded 7-10 days after your return
provided the boat is returned on time,
undamaged and all inventory intact. Confirmation
of your reservation will be sent upon receipt
of your deposit. |
| Cancellations |
| Cancellations
will be accepted up to 60 days prior to
your departure. CANCELLATIONS MUST
BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING via email
or US Mail.
If cancelled prior to the 60 days, your
deposit (less a 25% service charge) will
be refunded. Cancellation after the 60
days prior will not receive a refund and
will be charged an addional $250
service fee. The $250
service fee will be waived
(one time) if rental is immediately rescheduled
for a rental date within the next 12 months. |
